Pergolas & Covered Patios in Mansfield
More yard for the money, and people who use it.
Building in Mansfield
Mansfield buyers get more land per dollar than almost anywhere else in Tarrant County, and it shows in what people ask us for. There is room here for a freestanding pavilion and a deck and an outdoor kitchen, and budgets tend to go further because the yard is not the constraint.

Where the money is best spent
When a lot is large, the temptation is to build large. We usually push the other direction: build the right size well rather than a bigger structure with thinner detail. A twenty-foot pavilion with a real exposed truss, a cedar ceiling and a proper stain will be worth more to you in ten years than thirty feet of plain rafters.
That is not us talking anybody out of scope. It is where we have seen people be happy versus where we have seen them wish they had done it differently.

Rolling south Tarrant terrain
Mansfield ground rolls, particularly out toward Walnut Creek and the southern edges where lots start pushing into acreage. Grade changes mean stepped footings and a real drainage plan, and on the larger properties there is often no utility infrastructure anywhere near where you want to build.
Running power and gas out to a structure a hundred feet from the house is completely doable and it is not free. We put it in the bid as its own line so you can decide whether the pavilion goes out at the treeline or closer in.

Three counties, three permit offices
Mansfield spans Tarrant, Johnson and Ellis counties, and the city has its own requirements on top. Which office your project answers to depends on where the property sits.
We sort that out before the bid rather than discovering it after. Nothing kills a build schedule faster than filing with the wrong jurisdiction and starting the clock over.

Our Process
How a Mansfield project goes
No mystery, no moving target. Here is exactly what happens from the first phone call to the last sweep of the driveway.
We walk your yard
Nathan comes out, looks at the space, and asks what you actually want to do out there. Where the sun lands at four in the afternoon, where the gas and power are, what the HOA will allow. No sales pitch, no pressure, no charge.
A real design, not a guess
You get a drawing with dimensions, material specs and stain colors — enough to see it before it exists and enough to hand to an HOA architectural committee.
One number, in writing
An itemized, fixed bid. Everything that is included is on the page. If something genuinely changes, we tell you before we do it, not after. No change-order games.
Permits and inspections
We pull the city permit, schedule the inspections, and handle the HOA submittal packet. You do not chase paperwork.
We build it and we clean up
A start date you can plan around, a crew that shows up when we say, and a site that gets swept every evening. When we hand it over, it is finished — stained, sealed, and ready.
Common Questions
Building in Mansfield
Do you build pergolas and patio covers in Mansfield?
Yes — Mansfield is part of our regular service area and we work in Walnut Creek Valley, Twin Creeks, South Pointe and throughout Tarrant, Johnson & Ellis Counties. We build custom pergolas, covered patios, pavilions, outdoor kitchens and decks, and we pull the city permit as part of every job.
How much does a pergola or covered patio cost in Mansfield?
It depends on footprint, roof complexity, ceiling finish and site access — the honest range is wide enough that a number on a web page would be misleading. We walk the space and give you one fixed, itemized bid in writing at no charge.
Do you handle permits and HOA approval in Mansfield?
Yes. We pull the city permit, schedule inspections, and assemble the HOA architectural submittal packet — elevations, scaled site plan, material specifications and stain color — as part of the project.
